FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The light drizzle continues as the big green blob that has been inching towards Long Island is starting to go yellow on Doppler. Bethpage Black, however, remains in decent shape all things considered.
“Kudos to the maintenance staff, good grief,” Lucas Glover said echoing the sentiments of the rest of the field. “Those guys deserve a big pat on the back.”
Seems we may be around this corner of muni heaven for awhile before we crown a champion, but Bethpage’s crew has already won their trophy.
