PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Ryan Moore eagled the par-5 16th hole Friday morning on his way to a 6-under 30 which tied the tournament record for lowest back nine score at TPC Sawgrass.
11 players had recorded 30 on the Stadium’s closing loop, most recently Daniel Chopra did it during the second round last year, but none – we’re going to go out on a limb on this one – did it with as much style.
