Tom Lehman, who completed his final round, headed back out into the cold wind to watch a potential historic day.
Jeremy Kavanagh, who missed the cut, also headed back out to watch Watson.
‘Just thought it would be stupid not to go out and walk 18 holes with Watson and feel what it’s like,’ said Kavanagh, who played a practice round on Tuesday with Watson and Jack Nicklaus.
