That age-old question was answered on Friday, as Arnold Palmer phoned into Golf Channel’s ‘Morning Drive’ on the eve of his 82nd birthday.
“I’m taking my foursomes that I play with here in Latrobe and their wives and we’re going to go have a little fun in Atlantic City,” he said. “How’s that for a birthday?”
They may not play any golf there, but don’t worry about Arnie’s game. The man who once shot his age in a competitive event a decade ago intimated that doing so today is still well within his capabilities.
“There’s one thing I can still do,” he explained, “and that’s shoot 82.”
