OAKMONT, Pa. – The first raindrops of the championship began falling at 2:23 p.m. Friday at the U.S. Women’s Open at Oakmont.
Thunder cracked at 2:29 p.m. and play was quickly suspended.
The forecast calls for scattered showers the rest of the day with an inch or less of rain falling.
