BETHESDA, Md. – Patrick Reed tied a record Friday, only midway through his second round of the AT&T National.

Starting on the back nine at Congressional Country Club, Reed posted a 6-under 29 with six birdies and three pars.

That score matches the back-nine total of Anthony Kim in the first round of the 2009 edition of the event.

Reed’s score, however, is the first 29 posted on the back since the course’s massive redesign in 2010.

He followed with a par on the first hole prior to play being suspended due to inclement weather.
