Sony Corporation and the PGA Tour agreed to an extension Wednesday to sponsor the Hawaii stop through 2018.

The new agreement will take effect following the 2014 event, which is scheduled for Jan. 9-12 at Waialae Country Club.

All four rounds will be televised by Golf Channel. Russell Henley is the defending champion.

Sony is among the five longest-running tournament sponsors on the PGA Tour. This new agreement will extend Sony’s commitment through 2018, which will mark the 20th anniversary of its sponsorship.
