Henrik Stenson sure knows how to close out these end-of-season series in style.

In September, Stenson built a huge lead midway through the Tour Championship, then cruised to a final-round 68 for a three-shot victory to clinch the FedEx Cup.

On Sunday, Stenson put on a ball-striking clinic at Jumeirah Golf Estates, hitting 17 greens en route to a bogey-free, 8-under 64 and six-shot victory. He capped the win with a fairway-wood shot to tap-in range for eagle.

The world No. 3 became the first player to sweep both the FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai in the same season.

“It’s been an incredible summer for me,” Stenson said afterward. “The form in America was amazing, and now this. It’s been a dream season.”

At 3,364,670 points, Stenson finished atop the Race to Dubai standings by a healthy margin (672,374) over runner-up Ian Poulter. That was worth a $1 million bonus.

Stenson also won the money title by more than 1 million euros.
