Sunny skies on Sunday

ATLANTA – Not often meteorologist get it right, but the Tour’s weathermen nailed Saturday’s forecast. Less than 30 minutes after the final groups finished their rounds at East Lake heavy rain and thunder enveloped the golf course.

The course, inundated with more than 11 inches of rain the last week, should be ready for final-round play, with Sunday’s forecast calling for sunny skies and temperatures around 80 degrees.

The Tour Championship may not be golf’s Super Bowl, but it will enjoy perfect fall weather for its fourth quarter.
