SYDNEY – Tiger Woods went from one shot clear of the field to two behind the leader in just three holes Saturday at the Australian Open.
Woods began his round with three consecutive bogeys, one more than he made through his first 36 holes, and fell behind Australian Jason Day at 6 under.
The only good news for Woods was that playing partner Peter O’Malley, to whom he lost in the first round of the 2002 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, was 4 over through three holes.
