ST. ANDREWS, Scotland – The women will return to another historic venue when the Ricoh Women’s British Open is played at Turnberry in 2015, championship officials announced Wednesday.

Karrie Webb won on Turnberry’s Ailsa course when the Women’s British Open was played there for the first time in 2002. It has been home to the men’s Open Championship four times. Tom Watson won the famed “Duel in the Sun” with Jack Nicklaus there in 1977. He lost in a playoff to Stewart Cink there in ’09.

The Women’s British Open is being staged this week at St. Andrews and the Old Course for the second time. Lorena Ochoa won when the championship was staged there for the first time in 2007.
