Bubba Watson may have fallen short of a second Travelers Championship title in the last four years Sunday, but the former Masters champion’s tie for fourth was good enough to move him back into the top 10 of the standings for the U.S. Presidents Cup team.
Players have several weeks left to accrue points, with the top 10 of both the U.S. and International teams finalized following the Deutsche Bank Championship in September. On Wednesday, Sept. 4, captains Fred Couples and Nick Price will add two captain’s picks each to round out the field of 24 participants.
The Presidents Cup will be contested Oct. 3-6 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Here is a look at how the current standings shape up:
