Hunter Mahan’s victory at the WGC-Accenture Match Play marks the eighth American victory in a row to open the 2012 PGA Tour season. If the trend continues, we may see some American major winners this year and perhaps even a first-time major victor born on U.S. soil. If so, who’s the best bet for America? Mahan, perhaps?
