We know where he will play next, now the most-pressing question in Tiger Woods’ competitive universe is who? As in, who will be on the world’s most-watched bag when Woods returns to competition in October at the Frys.com Open?

Woods split with caddie Steve Williams earlier this summer and used long-time friend Bryon Bell at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and PGA Championship, where he missed the cut.

On Wednesday, Woods was asked on about the caddie situation by Golf Channel’s ‘Morning Drive’ crew as he prepared to play the NB3 Foundation Challenge in New York, a charity event hosted by Notah Begay.

“I’m going to need a caddie at the Frys,” said Woods, who is playing the one-day event at Turning Stone Resort with Begay’s brother, Clint, on his bag. “I don’t know who that’s going to be right now. No time table for that. No pressure.”

Some have speculated that Woods would hire a high-profile caddie like Dustin Johnson’s man Joe LaCava, but he was spotted talking with Mark O’Meara’s caddie Shane Joel at Bridgestone.
