NORTON, Mass. – Suzann Pettersen said she was inspired to victory Sunday at the CN Canadian Women’s Open by a text message from Tiger Woods.
The message includes some crude language that can’t be posted here but is run verbatim on the LPGA Web site.
Here’s Pettersen’s quote: “I used a lot of other sports and performances in kind of an inspirational way. I got a message from Tiger this morning, ‘Keep doing your [expletive].’ So I guess I did keep doing my [expletive].”
