NORTON, Mass. – If Tiger Woods is having any lingering effects from last week’s back injury, he wasn’t showing it Thursday morning.

Woods teed off in the 6:50 a.m. group in the Deutsche Bank Championship pro-am and looked, well, like a golfer without a back injury.

On an overcast, chilly morning, Woods warmed up for about 20 minutes, and then teed it up, taking a few mighty cuts without any noticeable wincing or grimacing.

According to a source, Woods received ‘normal treatment’ for his injury in recent days, which included stretching, heat and massage.

Citing a soft hotel bed, he was hampered by a stiff back throughout last week’s Barclays, even doubling over on his knees following a shot on the 13th hole in Sunday’s final round.

Among those in Woods’ pro-am group was New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg.
