MARANA, Ariz. – By now anyone paying attention knows that Martin Kaymer can overtake Lee Westwood with a trip to Sunday’s final, but that is just the tip of the ranking possibilities.
Among the dizzying array of possibilities:
-Graeme McDowell can move to No. 2 with a victory as long as Kaymer doesn’t make it to the quarterfinals. Otherwise G-Mac would move to third as long as Luke Donald doesn’t win.
-If Donald wins he’ll go to No. 3 unless McDowell makes it to the semifinals.
-Matt Kuchar will go to No. 6 with a victory.
