Rafa Cabrera Bello’s road to the Ryder Cup was fairly smooth thanks to automatic qualifying. But his flight to the Ryder Cup? It’s caused him a little more consternation.
Cabrera Bello on Thursday unleashed the following Tweetstorm aimed at British Airways, which allegedly bumped him from first class (for reasons you’ll read below), then provided him an economy window seat without a window.
I hardly ever criticize, but been downgraded on my flight because @British_Airways screwed up with their number of crew members @WestwoodLee

@British_Airways say I'll be refunded but don't say how much. They tell me to ask in London Haha that's already once I've flown! #pathetic

This journey gets even better I asked @British_Airways to at least give me a window seat. Seems that they forgot to put a window there! pic.twitter.com/33cEUSshxL

I didn't pay for my ticket, @RyderCupEurope did. I hope you guys get the full refund. Pitiful service by @British_Airways #👎🏼

And I'm totally ok with flying economy, I always do when in Europe. Just pissed off at the little answers I get from @British_Airways

Well lucky there was a spare window and they let me move! @British_Airways still not happy with your service! 😠👎🏼 pic.twitter.com/fejmwBjQrT

1/2 "Not enough crew to assist in case of emergency", that's why I was downgraded? Really? #stupidexcuse @British_Airways .....
— Rafa Cabrera Bello (@RCabreraBello) September 22, 2016
2/2 One crew not enough for aprox 15 passengers in business? But 2 enough for more than 50 in economy? @British_Airways Who taught you math?
— Rafa Cabrera Bello (@RCabreraBello) September 22, 2016
no, because apparently they didn't have enough crew in business for it to be "safe" #ifthisgoesdownweareallscrewed

Coincidentally, #Ifthinggoesdownwereallscrewed is also the unofficial hashtag for the U.S. Ryder Cup task force.
If you’re wondering why he chose to tag Ryder Cup teammate Lee Westwood, you’ll see below that Westwood had his own issues with the airline’s “lounge policy” last month.
We're sorry you're unhappy about our lounge policy and being bussed from the aircraft, Lee. We hope this won't deter you 1/2

We’ll keep you updated in case either one of them ever hits 10 million miles.
