Vanderbilt football coach James Franklin is a leading candidate for several high-profile vacancies, but he’s rumored to be close to a deal to take over Penn State’s program.
Naturally, Commodores alum Brandt Snedeker is trying to do his part to make sure Franklin stays in Nashville.
Sweetening the offer to keep @jamesfranklinvu here.. Free golf lessons for life if he stays.. Impossible to turn down!! #bestcoachanywhere

A valiant effort, but it seems unlikely that such an offer will be enough to seduce Franklin, especially if one of the other schools back a Brinks truck into his driveway.
