Oregon defeated Texas to win its first NCAA men’s golf championship on Wednesday night. The Ducks prevailed when local boy Sulman Raza defeated Taylor Funk in 21 holes - on Oregon’s home course. Many in the golf world were watching, and tweeting. Even some of the participants took to social media.

You learn more about someone in defeat than victory. So proud of my teammates and coaches. I'm blessed to be part of such a class program🤘

As a player, I want a putt to win the NCAA championship. As a fan, I don't want any kid to have that pressure! #NCAAGolf #GoodStuff
