The Drexel Dragons won La Salle’s Explorer Match Play Championship on Tuesday at North Hills Country Club in Glenside, Pa. (Yes, that is a hyper-local, Philly-golf sentence.)
After a 2 1/2-to-2 1/2 tie, Drexel junior Aaron Fricke finished off Fairleigh Dickinson’s U Minn Woo in a one-hole playoff in the dark when he chipped in “guided by only the light of a tractor.” See for yourself:

If this looks familiar, you may remember UC Davis pulling off something similar last month:

Anyhow, congrats to the Dragons on their tractor-lit win. Have fun at Abner’s or at New Deck or at that gyro truck that used to park on Spruce a little ways up from 34th behind Penn ... or wherever you guys hang out. Never been. Wouldn’t know.
