Back-to-back Thunderbird International Junior champion (2009, 2010)
First place in 2009 McDonald’s Betsy Rawls Girls Championship
Yueer Cindy Feng captured her second consecutive Thunderbird International Junior this past weekend at the Raptor Course at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Feng became the first player ever to successfully defend her title at the event. The victory did not come easy. The 14-year-old Feng needed four playoff holes to defeat Laetitia Beck of Caesarea, Israel. Feng shot rounds of 72, 73 and 68 for a three day total of 3-under-par 213. After her victory, Golfchannel.com caught up with the back-to-back Thunderbird champion to learn a little more about her winning formula.
