2010 Under Armour/Vicky Hurst Championship winner
Solid golf propelled Emily Tubert to her first AJGA victory last week at the Under Armour/Vicky Hurst Championship in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Tubert posted 71 - 69 en route to a 4-under 140 for the tournament. She gained the lead early into her final round, making birdie on three of her first six holes to climb on top of the leaderboard. Once on top, Tubert never looked back. She handled the first-place pressure like a pro, hitting eight greens on the back nine. We got a chance to catch up with the champ to learn a few interesting facts about her past, present, and future plans.
