Tigers best comebacks remembered

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Tiger Woods has never come from behind in the final round to win a major championship, but he’s mounted a number of memorable Sunday charges to win other events.

Woods came from eight shots behind Ernie Els in the final round of the Johnnie Walker Classic in 1998 and beat him in a playoff.

He came from seven shots back with seven holes to play to win the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in 2000. He started five back on that Sunday.

He was five back of Sean O’Hair when he won he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in ’09.
