The PGA TOUR is in the Bay Area this week for the Frys.com Open at CordeValle, and area golf courses are offering tee time specials on GolfNow.com.

In Oakland, Lake Chabot Golf Course is offering a $28 weekday rate with a cart. Or, Sunday rates are $47. Anyone who books a tee time here all month long will be entered to win a new Taylor Made SLDR Driver. The course is one of the Bay Area’s more historic public courses dating back to 1923.

In Antioch, golfers can play Roddy Ranch Golf Club for as low as $35 (normally $55-70). The course sprawls across 235 acres on part of a former 2,000-acre cattle ranch and features views of Mt. Diablo and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The Ted Robinson-designed Golf Club at Brentwood is offering weekend rates on their 27-hole course for $53 (normally $65). The rate includes cart, a bucket of range balls, yardage book and divot tool.

In Napa, Eagle Vines Golf Club is offering weekend rates as low as $59 (normally $89). Designed by Johnny Miller, the course works in harmony with cherry trees, oaks, creeks, waterfalls and working vineyards.
