ORLANDO, Fla. – A team of more than 50 reporters and production professionals will report from 13 different locations across the U.S. Monday (June 3) as Golf Channel chronicles ‘Golf’s Longest Day’ for the second consecutive year. Nearly 1,000 players will be attempting to qualify for the U.S. Open in 36-hole sectionals.
Starting at 7 a.m. ET on ‘Morning Drive’ and continuing until all the results are tallied around midnight ET, Golf Channel will feature interviews, analysis, highlights and scoring updates from 11 qualifying locations, as well as insight from experts at Merion Golf Club and Golf Channel studios in Orlando.
Coverage will be hosted by Rich Lerner and Steve Sands in Orlando, while content produced from Golf Channel’s new digital studio will be hosted by Whit Watson and Ryan Burr. Live streaming content will be available via GolfChannel.com and the Golf Live Extra app. Coverage from 10 a.m. ET to 1 p.m. ET will be exclusively online and on mobile devices.
