Grade A

Skinny: Great rookie performance that ended with sour taste via singles loss to Rory McIlroy. Looks like a U.S. stud for a long time.

Jason Dufner (3-1) | (video profile)

Grade A

Skinny: Another strong rookie who didnt let the pressure of the moment get to him. Shined in singles with a clutch victory.

Jim Furyk (1-2) | (video profile)

Grade D

Skinny: Captains pick continued to add to a putrid career record (9-17-4). Bogey-bogey finish in singles was crippling and added to a what-could-have-been season.

Dustin Johnson (3-0) | (video profile)

Grade A

Skinny: Atoned for 1-3 performance last time with steady play and booming drives. Paired well with Kuchar.

Zach Johnson (3-1) | (video profile)

Grade A-

Skinny: Gutsy and gritty with Dufner and kept U.S. hopes alive with singles victory over struggling Graeme McDowell.

Matt Kuchar (2-1) | (video profile)

Grade B

Skinny: Only loss was in singles but he was erratic against Lee Westwood in singles with four birdies and four bogeys.

Phil Mickelson (3-1) | (video profile)

Grade B

Skinny: Difficult to knock Lefty for his singles loss to Justin Rose, but his request to sit Saturday afternoon hurt the team.

Webb Simpson (2-2) | (video profile)

Grade C+

Skinny: Bogey on 17 in singles against Ian Poulter was poor timing. Week was nothing bad, nothing special. Just mediocre.

Brandt Snedeker (1-2) | (video profile)

BrandtSnedeker.jpg
Grade C-

Skinny: The nerves got to him on a couple occasions and his singles loss to Paul Lawrie in the most lop-sided match of the day aided the European run.

Steve Stricker (0-4) | (video profile)

SteveStricker.jpg
Grade F

Skinny: A winless record only deserves one grade. Hampered Tiger Woods twice and blew it against Martin Kaymer in singles.

Bubba Watson (2-2) | (video profile)

bubbaWatson.jpg
Grade B

Skinny: Along with Bradley, brought the most energy to the U.S. Fought hard in tough singles loss to Luke Donald.

Grade D

Skinny: Played well to finish his Friday and Saturday fourball matches, but the American team needs more from its top-ranked player.

Captain Davis Love III | (video profile)

Grade C+

Skinny: Only gaffe was sitting Dustin Johnson out of two team matches and sending three rookies out in the first three Sunday matches.
