Ian Poulter, who is 29th in the Official World Golf Ranking, is a member of Team Albany in the 2012 Tavistock Cup. He has recently gotten over pneumonia and is starting to gain a few pounds back. Although he lives at Lake Nona, he is playing for Team Albany and although he is sort of playing against his home team, many of the people who are encouraging him are Lake Nona members. It is a lot of fun to be involved with this event.
This is a very relaxed format and everyone wants to go as low as possible so there will be a lot of players who fire at the pin the next two days. There are a lot of prizes for second and third place so there is definitely incentive to be aggressive on the course.
