MIAMI – Several players shuttled out to Countyline Dragway Tuesday to participate in a driving challenge that included Cadillac V-Series sedans, wagons and coupes.

The three challenges were straight-line acceleration and stop, slalom and driving skills in the V-Series machines that harness 556-horsepower, go 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and retail between $62,000-$72,000.

Players that participated were Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan, Louis Oosthuizen, Brendan Grace, Sang Moon Bae and Alvaro Quiros. Each represented different local charities that included the Brain Institute at the Miami Children’s Hospital, the Boys & Girls Club, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the First Tee.

“It’s a treat to have Cadillac take the time and effort to put this together,” Kuchar said. “It’s a lot of fun to be able to come out there and do this.”
