Thailand’s Pornanong Phatlum won in a runaway Sunday at the HSBC LPGA Brasil Cup in Rio de Janeiro.
At 13-under, Phatlum (67) finished four shots ahead of Amy Hung (65) and five ahead of Paula Creamer (69) and Chella Choi (67) in the unofficial event at Itanhanga Golf Club. Phatlum claimed the $108,000 first-place check. Suzann Pettersen finished tied for 10th, eight shots back.
The LPGA’s next event is the Sybase Match Play Championship May 17-20.
