Steve Marino will make his return to the PGA Tour in two weeks at the Memorial Tournament.

Marino underwent surgery on his right knee in October to repair a torn meniscus. He played in three events in January, making the cut at the Humana Challenge and Farmers Insurance Open before returning to the disabled list.

“This is one of those injuries that takes time to heal and rehab,” Marino said. “I tried to play in January but I experienced a lot of swelling and pain. If you try to come back too early you can do more damage.’

The University of Virginia product has four runner-up finishes in his PGA Tour career, including a pair last year at the Sony Open in Hawaii and Arnold Palmer Invitational. He held a share of the 54-hole lead at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, eventually won by D.A. Points.

Since the runner-up finish at Bay Hill, Marino has not had a top 10 on the PGA Tour.
