FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Behind the firepower of first-team All-Americans Jennifer Kupcho and Emilia Migliaccio, Wake Forest earned a spot in the final match on Wednesday at the NCAA Women’s Championship.

Kupcho, a senior who deferred her LPGA membership for a chance to win a team championship, knocked off Auburn’s Kaleigh Telfer, 6 and 4. Migliaccio, a three-time winner this season, rolled for the second straight day, topping Brooke Sansom, 7 and 5.

The fifth-seeded Demon Deacons dispatched the eighth-seeded Tigers, 4-0-1, and will face Duke in Wednesday afternoon’s final, which will begin at 2 p.m. at Blessings Golf Club.

Virginia Elena Carta and Ana Belac each won their second straight match for the second-seeded Blue Devils before freshman Gina Kim topped Arizona senior Bianca Pagdanganan in the anchor match, 1 up, to give Duke a 3-2 win over the defending national champions.
