Chris Gotterup has claimed the 2026 John Deere Classic title after Ben Kohles bogeyed on the 18th hole on Sunday’s final round.
Gotterup’s 9-under 62 was good enough to seal the win. It’s his fifth career win and third this season.
In 2022, Gotterup was given a sponsorship exemption to play in the Quad Cities.
He won playing with his brother, Patrick, as his caddie this week.
“He just kept me in it all week and we were joking having a great time,” an emotional Gotterup said with Patrick by his side in a post-round interview with CBS Sports.
