Aside from a second-round 64, it was a mostly forgettable WGC-HSBC Champions for Thomas Pieters, as he never shot better than 74 in any of his other three rounds on his way to a tie for 18th.
But there was one good moment on Sunday, when he aced the 197-yard, par-3 12th hole in the final round.
If only he had been as excited as his playing competitor, Emiliano Grillo.
