Tommy Fleetwood won the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, to be crowned the 2025 FedExCup champion.
Scottie Scheffler, the man he supplanted, took back the top prize on Sunday to capture his second crown in three years. He’s now just the third player to win multiple FedExCup titles.
The FedExCup has gone through many revisions since its 2007 inception, with another overhaul in place for 2028. After a stint using starting strokes to reward those higher in the playoff points standings, the Tour reverted to a standard 72-hole, stroke-play event with everyone starting at even par — winner take all.
