New Zealander Steven Alker closed with a 4-under 66 on Sunday to win the Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic at 14 under, one shot ahead Tag Ridings.
The victory marks fourth time that Alker has reached the winner’s circle this season, while increasing his career total to 14 titles on the PGA Tour Champions.
Michael Block shot a bogey-free 63 on Saturday to gain a one-shot lead over Alker, but Alker caught him for the second time in five weeks.
The final-group pairing was a rematch of the Ally Challenge in August, where Block lost a two-shot lead to Alker.
Alker went on to win by three shots, making it back-to-back victories after his win at the Rogers Charity Classic a week prior.
In Allentown on Sunday, Alker birdied the first to pull even with Block.
At the second hole, a cart driven by Alker’s 19-year-old fill-in caddie slid on wet grass and struck Block’s cart from behind with Block seated inside.
The teenager was on the bag because Alker’s regular caddie, Troy Martin, had fallen ill.
The contact was described as a “light bump.” An on-site physio checked Block and reported he was fine.
Close call today at the PGA Tour Champions event.

Steven Alker's 19-year-old, fill-in caddie was driving a cart on the second hole when the cart slid on wet grass and crashed into Michael Block's cart from behind.
The collision was described as a "light bump," though Block, who…
Alker moved ahead of Block for good at the par-4 fifth, where he made birdie and Block made bogey for a two-shot swing. He gave one back with a bogey at the eighth and made the turn a stroke ahead. The bigger threat came from Ridings, who shot 64 in an earlier group to reach 13 under. Alker and Block both birdied Nos. 11, 16 and 17, and the last vaulted Alker past Ridings. Alker parred No. 18 to win by one.
Block bogeyed the last to finish alone in third at 12 under for the best performance of his senior career. The week was also consequential for Block because Sunday was his seventh start, the number a non-member needs for his earnings to become official and for postseason eligibility.
The head professional at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, Calif., is headed to the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs less than four months after turning 50 on June 15.
Ridings closed with a 64 for second place at 13 under. Stewart Cink, No. 1 in the Schwab Cup standings, matched Block’s 63 for the low round of the week and tied for fourth at 11 under with Robert Karlsson and Richard Green.
The PGA Tour Champions regular season has two events left before the Schwab Cup playoffs begin Oct. 23 at the Stifel Charity Classic in St. Louis.
