Brooks Koepka has having issues with numbness in his left hand during Round 3 of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open. Rex Hoggard talked to the five-time major champion.

CALEDON, CANADA – Brooks Koepka withdrew before the final round of the RBC Canadian Open Sunday with a hand injury.

Koepka, who attempted to warm up for his final round before withdrawing, was tied for 32nd and seven shots off the lead through three rounds after being slowed on Day 3 by the mysterious ailment.

“I don’t know what it is. I’m struggling to grip the club with my ring finger and pinkie finger, so can’t grip it. So the club is kind of just, my fingers would come loose, it was kind of numb. I don’t know what the deal was but hopefully we’ll figure it out,” Koepka said following his third round.

Koepka received treatment before and during his round Saturday at TPC Toronto and said he’s never dealt with anything like this before.

Koepka is scheduled to play next week’s U.S. Open where he will be the defending champion of sorts after having won the last national championship played at Shinnecock Hills in 2018.
