Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler returned to TPC River Highlands Monday morning to determine the winner of the Travelers Championship.
Both men finished regulation tied at 21 under par and, because of a late weather suspension on Sunday, needed an extra day for the extra session. It only lasted one hole.
Hovland birdied the par-4 18th from 6 feet while Scheffler missed his 3-foot effort to extend the hole. With his triumph, Hovland earned $3.6 million. Here’s how the full $20 million purse was paid out in the final signature event of the season.
