There’s a lot on the line, aside from the $8.5 million purse, at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina this week.
Players in the field have their final chance to climb the FedExCup standings, in hopes of making it into the top 70 to compete in the playoffs.
For Cameron Young, it’s also a welcome return to Sedgefield Country Club where he earned his first victory on Tour. He’s in the field looking for a repeat and an opportunity to knock Matt Fitzpatrick out of his number two spot in the FedExCup rankings.
Jackson Koivun is looking to close the season with another win in his rookie season or at least a very good finish to help qualify for the FedExCup playoffs.
