The 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is offering a championship-record purse.
The USGA announced earlier in the week that total prize money would be upped by $1 million to $22.5 million. Saturday after the cut, the organization released the full breakdown.
Here’s how the purse will be paid out to the 67 professionals who made the cut in the season’s third major (will be updated with individual payouts when play concludes Sunday evening):
Note: the 69 professional who missed the cut will received a $10,000 stipend. Amateurs do not receive compensation.
