Rory surging again, Tiger hanging around at the turn

CARMEL, Ind. – Rory McIlroy turned a mediocre front nine into a great front nine with an eagle from 4 feet. He turned in 3-under 33 and is tied for second place with Ryan Moore. Vijay Singh leads at 12 under par.
Tiger Woods struggled with his driver for the first nine holes, missing four fairways right, yet scrambled for par on all four occasions. His lone birdie on the side came on the par-5 sixth hole. Woods stands at 8 under par for the tournament and is tied for ninth place.
