Welcome to the Golf Guy's sports lounge. Order up your favorite beverage, and let's hope you join in on the conversation. Maybe even get into a good ol' fashioned sports and golf debate.

My Take

The Tour Championship - the PGA Tour's supposed crowning moment for the season. Let's celebrate this yearly event by ... playing it at East Lake every year? To borrow from ESPN's Sunday NFL show, 'C'mon man!'

Yes, I'm well aware of the impact the Tour has had on that once troubled area in Atlanta. Commendable to say the least. But it is time to move on.

Either to the best, most exciting course America has to offer, or a rotating situation that showcases some of the best courses in the U.S.

I'm crossing my fingers. Meanwhile, Tim Finchem is giving me the finger.
