World #1 Rory McIlroy has work to do just to make the cut in the BMW PGA Championship.  He begins the 2nd round 2-over par and is trying to avoid consecutive missed cuts.

Zach Johnson carded a bogey-free round of 6-under 64 to take the 1st round lead by one shot in the Crowne Plaza Invitational. He's seeking his first win since winning at Colonial in 2010.

Englishman Roger Chapman put together 5 birdies and 2 bogeys to lead the Senior PGA Championship by a single shot over John Cook. Only 8 players were able to break par in the first round.

Alabama's lead in the NCAA Women's Golf Championship dwindled from 11 shots to just two with 18 holes to play. Southern Cal is in 2nd place with three teams six shots back and tied for 3rd place.
