Nike releases McIlroy-inspired putter, sells out immediately

Nike Golf announced that a limited amount of its Nike Method Prototype 006 putter - inspired by world No. 1 Rory McIlroy – would be released to the general public for the first time on Wednesday, April 15. Boasting a price tag of $450, the putter is laser-engraved with the Nike Oven logo and bundled with a tour-packaged box of RZN Black golf balls and a volt Nike head cover.

The only issue is … the putters flew from The Oven, selling out on Nike.com by 10:30AM ET.

You're not completely out of luck if you weren’t able to order one online Wednesday; there will also be a small number of the putters released at select retailers on Thursday the 16th - Just get there early if you plan on gaming one of these McIlroy-inspired prototypes.
