Spiranac gets first pro win on Cactus Tour

Thumbnail

We don’t often cover the Cactus Tour, but then again, Cactus Tour champions don’t often have nearly 700,000 Instagram followers, are on the cover of Golf Digest, or hit drives out of dude’s mouths for fun.

Such is the case this week, as Paige Spiranac won her first professional event at Orange Tree Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., shooting 71-74-68 and topping Hannah O’Sullivan, the top-ranked amateur in the world, in a playoff, taking a big step toward the Symetra and LPGA tour in the process.

Spiranac took to (where else) social media to show off her trophy and let the world know that she #canactuallybreak80.
