LA QUINTA, Calif. - The four courses of PGA West are a challenging venue for the Golf Channel Am Tour senior national championships this weekend. More than 600 golfers older than age 50 have teed it up on the Greg Norman Course, the Palmer Private Course, the Nicklaus Tournament Course and the feared Stadium Course, a past host of the legendary PGA Tour Qualifying School designed by Pete Dye. All four courses feature backdrops of rocky mountains that frame PGA West and their share of water.
