Masters 2014: What will Rory wear?

“You’ll probably never see me do that again. Obviously it was seen and known. It’s just really frustrating. I should never respond to any of that. Just let it go and by the time the next tournament rolls around, no one even remembers it anyway.” – on why he responded to negative comments on social media

Rory McIlroy made a statement when he won both the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship by eight shots. He’ll be looking to make another statement next week in Augusta, as he attempts to earn his first green jacket and first PGA Tour title in more than 18 months.

Trying to accomplish that feat - whether it come by one shot or eight - will be no small task, which is why Nike has outfitted McIlroy in apparel and accessories with the tagline Engineered for Greatness in mind.

McIlroy will sport the new Lightweight Innovation Color polo ($75) all four days of the tournament in a range of bold and confident colors. The ultra-lightweight polo features bonded shoulder seams; laser-cut armholes, placket and pocket; and perforated collar for breathability and cooling. The 24-year-old will pair each polo with the Modern Tech Pant ($80), Tour Mesh Cap ($30), Modern Plaque Belt ($50) and Nike Lunar Control footwear ($200).
