Tiger Woods didn’t dominate the headlines like he did in 2013, but the often-injured, 14-time major champion was still a big part of the news in 2014. Woods was part of two of the three most-read stories on GolfChannel.com this year, while world No. 1 Rory McIlroy also had two stories in the top 10.

Controversy was also a popular topic with readers, as stories about Anthony Kim’s whereabouts, Dustin Johnson’s reported suspension and Tom Watson’s Ryder Cup captaincy generated a lot of interest.
