Michelle Wie and Lydia Ko will be looking for their third victories of the year in a marquee grouping to start the Blue Bay LPGA in China.
Wie and Ko would equal Rolex world No. 1 Stacy Lewis for most LPGA victories this season if either wins this week at Hainan Island. Wie and Ko start the first round together with Shanshan Feng Thursday at 9:10 a.m. local time (Wednesday, 9:10 p.m. ET).
Golf Channel is televising the event beginning Wednesday night (11:30 p.m.-3:30 a.m.).
Ko, Feng and Wie are the highest ranked players in the field at Nos. 3, 5 and 6, respectively. Rolex world No. 9 Lexi Thompson is the only other top-10 player in the world rankings in the field.
