Rolex world No. 1 Inbee Park withdrew Tuesday from the Safeway Classic in Portland, Ore., with flu-like symptoms.

“I’m disappointed I will be unable to play this week in Portland due to an illness,” Park said in a statement. “Safeway is such a great supporter of our tour, and I always look forward to playing in front of the crowds in Oregon.”

Park has won six LPGA titles this year, including the first three major championships of the year. She tied for 13th at the CN Canadian Women’s Open last week, her first start since falling short in a bid to win the Ricoh Women’s British Open for a fourth major championship triumph this season.

Park tied for second at Safeway last year behind Mika Miyazato. It was her second T-2 finish in six starts in the event.
